After three weeks of getting to know each other, the requested special roast le NOIR Blend was handed over to Sophie Schubert, the café owner, on 22.02.2024. Her friend Max, who also took part in the tasting, was very positively surprised and praised our performance as a coffee roaster.
Sophie is currently cooperating with the Mr. and Mrs. Brown coffee roastery in Wilsdruff and is currently selling a type of coffee at €16.49/500 g, which she uses in her café with her portafilter machine.
Now Sophie wants to join us in the holistic justice work of the Two Kings Principle. Sophie defines the 250 g coffee packs in her store at €22.49 and we are helping her with the honest information on the two banners to the right and left of the entrance door, which we have designed and printed. On the newly designed drinks menus, you can see how much more each drink costs with the special roast of our Kaffee Batavia brand.
Another banner was placed on the wall above a painting next to the counter, presenting the current coffee farmer (Mr. Lodovikus Vadirman) with his self-defined, fair green coffee price.
We are grateful for the claim of our roasted coffee in Sophie's Café in Pirna and cordially invite you to enjoy your drinks with the le NOIR Blend - which is only available in Café le NOIR.
In collaboration with Sophie, we are also planning to hold coffee tastings and coffee talks in her store in the future.
