We are happy to share another nice story about how we got connected with Ibu Oza who just opened her cafe The Fonza (Jl. Puncak Waringin) last February 19th. You have a great view of the harbor from there and also see as it is a kind of terrace.
A very good friend of hers, Pak Lody, who also works there, told our Hanna about the opening. So she went there and gave a short presentation about our "Two Kings Philosophy". Not once, but twice, as a tester of roasted beans was actually needed.
Ibu Oza introduced the direct relationship with the farmers and the makers of the baskets she uses in her cafe interior, as well as the carpet makers who made the tables and the chairs. Finally, she even mentioned that her rice comes directly from small farmers within Manggarai. So she is happy to publish things that are really good to be named regionally within Manggarai.
Ibu Oza's strongest selling point is her waffle. It's just so delicious and already got a huge recognition during a certain festival last year. It was sold out - starting from just 15K (less than 1 €) - now gladly with the combination of our righteous delicate KAFFEE BATAVIA royalty coffees at her place.
In fact, she has had several coffee brands reach out to her BUT none of them did a follow up by visiting her and showing personal interest towards her and our Hanna did it naturally so we are the FIRST coffee roaster and brand to actually reach out to her. And she accepted it with a grateful heart.
Our Arabica SL-795 Full Washed (Medium Roast) from our farmer, Emilia Nandung, will be featured at The Fonza.
Pak Leo as a bartender who mixes delicious non-alcoholic cocktails presents funny names by using famous Japanese manga ONE PIECE such as "Nami Nami" or "Rorona Zoro". Surely he will come up with another funny name for the coffee drinks too.
