KAFFEEkostBAR family on a beach

God invites every person to live this principle, but not everyone feels addressed, let alone dares to dare to put it into practice. Because it is also a challenge, as Jesus Christ made clear: "One servant cannot serve two masters. He will be devoted to one and reject the other. He will devote himself completely to one, the other he will despise. You cannot serve God and mammon at the same time."

Together with our six coffee farmers, we internalized the January 2023, we internalized the REINE principle. We have realized that each of them wants to follow this new, visible and narrower path. They want to leave the old scams of the existing cooperative in their region, especially the purchase especially the purchase of green coffee from others, to resell it and generate the intermediate margin as to generate additional income.

Four of the farmers went on with us, while two realized that two had to realize that they were in a quandary after all and had to decide after a year which path they really wanted to take. Because both are still functionaries in the same cooperative. They have understood that every farmer should fulfill God's will for himself fulfill God's will for himself by NOT buying green coffee from others to then sell it on. They also understand that they should not become coffee traders, as is the practice common in the administrative positions of the cooperative, but only to live out their divine calling: to be one of the best and most trustworthy coffee farmers in their village. in their village. They know that we are always patient in the KAFFEEkostBAR family if they want to give up their commitment to the want to give up their commitment to the cooperative in order to accompany us holistically. We said goodbye respectfully.

However, the loyal four have gained three more coffee farmers have joined them: One from the village of Tangkul and two more from other villages. This means that our large family has grown 2024 has grown to 7 farmers. For us, this means responsibility to maintain the production quality we production quality and to carry out sincere communication and marketing work.

For the ever-growing harvest from summer 2024 new "King Solomos" must also come into contact with us.

Who are the Solomos of our generation? Perhaps you?

Talk to us. Let's live the Two Kings Principle and move forward together - just like end consumers in Indonesia and Kenya, so also here in Döbeln and Saxony and beyond.

God's wonderful story of good administration continues with us.

Coffee Trip Indonesia • Jan. - Feb. 2023

Since 2015, we've been thankful for the opportunity to enjoy the finest-processed coffee green beans, known as Specialty Coffees. We get these directly from a small cooperative called ASNIKOM. Our promise is to always know where each coffee bean comes from, and we especially value knowing which farmer grew it. We don't mix beans from different growers; each one is from a single farmer. The person leading this effort is Lodovikus Vadirman, who is hardworking and determined. He worked tirelessly to help small-scale farmers come together and form the cooperative. Every year, Lodovikus plays a crucial role in making sure our coffee orders go smoothly. We really notice and appreciate his efforts.

After four long years of not being able to visit our beloved coffee farmers because of Covid19 rules, we were finally able to go see them in early 2023. But our happiness was mixed with sadness when we saw that Mr. Vadirman had become quite wealthy, and his family had gathered a lot of money in these past years. Being prosperous isn't necessarily bad, but it does bring a contrast to the other farmers who work just as hard and trust us. It's sad to see such a big difference.

We think that a Dutch company, who is the main importer of ASNIKOM coffees, might have played a role in Mr. Vadirman's change in circumstances. It seems like money and nice words can influence a person's choices. Because of this, Mr. Vadirman no longer follows our "Two-Kings-Principle." We understand the importance of building personal relationships with every coffee farmer. We strongly believe that true respect comes from sincere and direct connections.

What was first seen as a sad situation can now be seen as a chance. We can now create closer connections with different farmers and put into action the details of our principle. By doing this, our goal is to have open, honest, and deep relationships with all our partners. This way, we aim to create a future that is not just fulfilling, but also based on trust and shared respect.

We say goodbye to Mr. Vadirman with great respect, and we wholeheartedly dedicate ourselves to helping the six families of coffee farmers who have enthusiastically embraced the "Two-Kings-Principle" with us. As we leave ASNIKOM behind, we begin a new and deep trading partnership with these farmers. It goes beyond the usual way of doing things - that's why we now call it the "pure Two Kings Principle".
