The airflow is controlled by an electric proportional actuator damper. Smaller machines may have a manual damper.
Use the lighter test to set your ideal airflow.
For cleaning, you will need a vacuum cleaner, a blower or blow gun if available, 8 mm Allen keys (maybe cross screwdriver for older machines) and a small slotted screwdriver.
If you have a blower or blow gun, you can easily clean the Airflow Blower by blowing into the opening where the aluminum flexible tube is connected. If you only have a vacuum cleaner available, follow these steps.
Disconnect the Airflow Blower from his base on top of the cyclone.
Remove the airflow blower from the cyclone and clean it using a vacuum cleaner.
Clean the blower, and then reinstall it correctly.
If you have a blower or blow gun, you can easily clean the Airflow Blower by blowing into the opening where the aluminum flexible tube is connected. If you only have a vacuum cleaner available, follow these steps.
Disconnect the two cables leading to the airflow blower and thread them out of the holder.
Remove the screws connecting the Airflow Blower to the Cyclone.
Remove the airflow blower from the cyclone and clean it using a vacuum cleaner.
Place the airflow blower back on the cyclone, secure it with the screws, and reconnect the cables.
For cleaning, you will need a vacuum cleaner, a wire brush, 10 mm and 8 mm Allen keys and a 12 mm open-end wrench or ring spanner
Loosen the screws on the two pipe connections leading to the airflow blower and the drum, and remove the pipe connection piece.
Clean the opening to the drum, the opening to the airflow blower, and the pipe connector with a vacuum cleaner. For stubborn deposits, you can use a wire brush.
Recommendation: First, screw in the screws leading to the airflow blower, but do not tighten them yet. Then screw in the screws that lead to the drum. Finally, tighten all the screws.
