Our Given Facts - flashback to 2015

Since the beginning of our ministry in 2015, we have been called and chosen to pave a righteous path for others who may be encouraged to follow our lead and live by the Two Kings Principle, as entrusted to us by Jesus Christ. We emphasize his definition of divine righteousness, which applies to end consumers as well as coffee farmers.

A small group of organic coffee farmers founded the cooperative ASNIKOM with around 30 active members (2010), they have offered us direct access to their goods in 2015. However, as a newly founded coffee shop in a small town called Döbeln in the Saxony state, we cannot roast and present more than what we can handle. Therefore, indeed we tried to reach out to existing coffee roasteries in Germany.

Though we always promote transparency, we invited coffee shop and coffee roastery owners from major cities in the Saxony state of Germany. Chemnitz, Leipzig, Dresden (2017 and 2018), Munich, and Nürnberg (2018), and Berlin (2019). We invited them to embrace us as the chosen representatives of small-scale coffee farmers from Flores Island in the eastern part of the Manggarai region. Back in 2017 and 2018, our proven values and concept amazed most of them. However, since we declared that our values are founded in Jesus Christ alone and not for the sake of profit, our concept has been challenged. We don't simply offer the best specialty coffee beans as a single origin from an existing cooperative; instead, we offer plantation coffee from a single farmers.

Back then, there were almost no options like ours in Germany. Because of our holistic transparency, which allows farmers to define the price of their specialty coffee beans, some coffee roastery owners were disappointed because they only care about the numbers: buying high-quality coffee at the lowest price. It's that simple. We don't do that; we do the exact opposite: we buy the highest quality at the highest price proposed by the farmers themselves.

Yes, time flies. Now it’s 2025, and we have restructured with four coffee farmers as the core of our family-wise mindset. They too have also embraced two other farmers within the Colol region of East Manggarai on the island of Flores in Indonesia. We present microlots and nanolots from these dedicated, committed, organic specialty coffee farmers and their small plots in nurtured coffee forests in the region.

Markus Petzold was sent to reach out to other major cities in Indonesia and Singapore to share our happiness in being able to offer the delicate specialty coffees produced by our farmers.

Here are the names of the coffee roasteries and their locations. They showed interest after experiencing Markus's presentation and seeing the green beans he brought:

Important Further Condition

There is indeed ONE condition for buying and using our green beans according to the Two-Kings-Principle: you are invited to visit the farmers in their homes and immerse yourselves in the world of coffee plantation farming.

Within 18 months of your first order, we hope you will decide to come spend a few days getting to know the farmers. One of our staff members from our coffee roastery in Labuan Bajo, the west harbor city of Flores, will likely accompany you and help with communication. Of course, you are free to visit the farmers without our companion, but it will certainly be challenging.

We gladly offer you the real cost of the homestay visit with the farmers: Three days or longer. There are also options for activities during your visit, depending on how long you stay.
